2009 PROGRAMME

Here is our 2009 programme featuring a variety of top quality blues-related acts some new to the venue others returning favourites. As usual we will be promoting two tribute bands in order to attract a wider audience to our special venue. The Counterfeit Stones will be back in 2010 so in 2009 we host The Mods (the world's best 60's tribute) and Roxy Magic a special tribute to the music of Brian Ferry and Roxy Music. Also we will be promoting a small number of special gigs in our intimate "Blues Room" - look out for details.

Individuals and companies have the opportunity to support the Ripley Blues Club by sponsoring tickets for a gig of their choice. The sponsor's name will be featured on the tickets and on our very popular website and the sponsor will also receive two free tickets for the show - the cost is £100.00

Following their Glastonbury triumph where they were picked out by Michael Eavis as a festival highlight, The Blockheads make their first visit to our venue as part of the celebrations to mark the 700th anniversary of the Ingilby family at Ripley Castle.
